It’s a rare trip that doesn’t include rain, hail, strong winds or snow – even in summer. In the Cradle Valley it rains for an average of five days out of seven with 54 snow days a year. All Overland Track tours pick-up around Launceston in the afternoon for transport to cabin accommodation at Cradle Mt. with rooms assigned to your party or three-share for singles. The guides will run through gear outfitting and a preliminary briefing, supplying gear so you can organise your packing in the comfort of your room.
